Food For Lane County

Food for Lane County is a non-profit organization that serves the county to help feed it's homeless and low-income residents. Because of the low-income status of the co-ops, the Janet Smith House has qualified and joined one of the programs. The Extra Helping program allows the Janet Smith house to receive food year-round from the FFLC warehouse. Summertime brings fresh fruit and produce in large quantities!

The contact for the FFLC program is:

Linda Kelly, Agency Relations

At least one house member must be a qualified Food Handler. The process for getting a food handler card is painless and is outlined on the website.
