Free Compost Workshops

Sponsored by the City of Eugene & OSU/Lane County Extension Service For beginning to experienced composters, these hands-on workshops will cover the basics of how composting works, which materials to use, and the different methods and types of compost bins available. Workshops are conducted by certified OSU/Lane County Extension Service Compost Specialists. Pre-registration is not required.

The GrassRoots Garden: Behind St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1465 Coburg Rd., Eugene.

River House Compost Education Site: 301 N. Adams, Eugene (along the bike path in east Maurie Jacobs Park).

OSU/Lane County Extension Service: 950 West 13th Avenue, Eugene (the rose garden is east of the main entrance, behind the Adaptive Garden).
