Conflict Assistance Team (CAT) Coordinator

TERM OF OFFICE. The CAT Coordinator shall be elected by the general membership. The term of office shall be for one year from the date of election. 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES. 

  • Work closely with all house CAT coords to implement the SCA Conduct and Dispute policy.
  • Chair the CAT Committee.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES. 

  • Convene Harassment Committee Meetings on an as needed basis.
  • Arrange for at least two (2) training sessions covering both intervention and harassment issues for house CAT coords each term: one within three weeks of the beginning and the other within the next three weeks following.
  • Ensure that all house Harassment Advisors thoroughly understand the principles and procedures in SCA's Harassment Policy.
  • Attend all Board Meetings unless excused at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Along with the entire Harassment Committee, review Harassment policies and procedures, and submit suggested revisions to the Board as needed.

ACCOUNTABILITY, SUPERVISION, AND COMPENSATION

  • The SCA CAT Coordinator will report directly to the SCA Chairperson.
  • The SCA CAT Coordinator will receive 5 job points as compensation.
